About Department

The Department of Bachelor of Computer Science (B.C.A) was established in the year 2013 as an institution offering undergraduate courses from management stream. For betterment of students a separate networked laboratory was established in the department, providing state-of-the-art facilities. The 21st Century is the time where vast technological changes are taking place in the IT industry, all over the world and the whole world has become a business hub as computers removes all the boundaries and barriers among the nations. Therefor the need arose and our college had recognized the importance of professional and technical knowledge to the masses especially to rural students.

Thus we provide those courses in the department, which are having potential to meet the requirements of both industry and research. The curriculum is designed to train the students in developing application programs (Software) and also designing and developing computing systems (Hardware).Our graduates have distinguished themselves in higher studies at the top universities. The process of our Department activities is developing entrepreneurs in the field of information Technology. The main goal of the BCA department is to provide the quality education and to enhance the confidence of student to face the new technology’s so that they find themselves practically prepared to face the competitive world.

The course will deal with the fundamental as well as the advanced aspects focusing on the proper utilization of the diverse array of computer applications in the engineering and technology processes maintained in the various industries of the present era, Such as Designing, construction and testing the computer based systems, utilizing up to date programming languages, hardware and computer based implementation will be the main features of the course providing a thorough and in depth insight of the advancement in the sector.

Highlights

We conduct English speaking and personality development sessions for all the students, to enable them to groom up their personality and English communication skill, so that they will be able to succeed in such a dynamic market environment.
Department organizes computer literacy program in summer vacations for all surrounding area students and their parents, which not only help parents to understand the need of computer literacy but also to motivate their children for learning it.
we arrange students educational trips or industrial visits to those pleases, which will make them clear the importance of knowledge and its power related to information technology.
Places such as :hinzewadi it park, magarpatta city, cognizant it company ,tcs etc.

Goals and Objectives

Commenced in 2013, the Department of Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) set objective of imparting high eminence skills in programing and software development to students.
The department aims to develop academically competent and professionally motivated personals, equipped with objective and critical thinking that passionately foster the scientific temper with a sense of social responsibility.
To excel in an Industry wealso aims to train our students for their overall development, by providing English communication and personalitydevelopment program prepared according to the global standards, that towith reference to enhance their knowledge in Information Technology.
BCA department also aims at providing high quality training to students through the latest in computer technology. In order to maintain the standard of education, the department dedicated to constant addition of the current academic syllabi so as to keep the students well trained to deal with changing trends in the field of Computer Application and information Technology.
The department has kept one more important objective that is not only to bring a good academic result but also desire that most of our BCA students shall get placed in good and renowned IT Companies through our campus placements.

FUTURE PLANS

We have planned to continue ENGLISH SPEAKING AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS for all the students, to enable them to groom up their personality and English communication skill, so that they will be able to succeed in such a dynamic market environment.
Department has also decided to organize COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM INSUMMER VACATIONS for all surrounding area students and their parents,which will not only help parents to understand the need of computerliteracy but also to motivate their children for learning it.
To arrange students TRIP OR INDUSTRIAL VISITS to those pleases, which will inspire them to cater the need of knowledge and its power related to information technology. Places such as:Hinjewadi IT Park, Magarpatta city, Cognizant IT Company, TCS etc.
To DOUBLE THE STUDENTS STRENGTH next year by proving ourselves as a Benchmarking institute in an education sector.
Department has decided to arrange GUEST LECTURERS of eminent faculties from various field.
